As a founding member of the non-profit association “Menschen brauchen Menschen e.V.“ (People need People), I am committed to central social issues. Hence we support and promote non-profit organisations and projects in the fields of education and development, science and research, and nature and the environment.
As an open water swimmer, one thing is particularly close to my heart: teaching children to move in the water safely and without fear, in a developmentally beneficial way. That’s why we plan projects to enable socially and economically disadvantaged children to take swimming lessons.
Unfortunately, not all members of our society are equipped with the same opportunities. Together with “Menschen brauchen Menschen e.V.”, I want to help to equalise this disparity and thus strengthen the community.
