„WHILE THE LAKE CONSTANCE CROSSING WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE OF OPEN WATER SWIMMING, THE INTERNATIONAL LAKE ZURICH SWIM WAS TO PRESENT ME WITH MUCH GREATER CHALLENGES.“
There was a 26 km course ahead of me, more than twice as many kilometres as in my first race. The size of the race itself was also impressive: 40 individual swimmers and 21 teams from all over the world. Although I was very excited, I managed to finish second with a time of 7 hours, 43 minutes and 16 seconds. I want to build on my first two races and gain more experience to achieve my big goal of completing the Ocean’s Seven Challenge.
